The Solar Heating and Cooling Technology Collaboration Programme (SHC TCP) is the world’s largest Solar Heating and Cooling research network. It was established in 1977, one of the first programmes of the International Energy Agency. The SHC TCP’s work is unique in that it is accomplished through the international collaborative effort of experts from country members, sponsor members and the European Union.
The Solar Keymark is the European quality label for solar thermal products, owned by CEN/CENELEC and managed by Solar Heat Europe. As a voluntary third-party certification, it guarantees compliance with European standards and ensures consistent quality. Covering collectors, systems, storages, and controllers, it is the basis of most European support schemes and is increasingly recognized worldwide.
